IMMINENT STATE CASTE CENSUS: C M REVANTH REDDY
JAN 27, HYDERABAD According to Honorable Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy, the state would shortly conduct a caste census. According to the Chief Minister, the government is determined to carry out the caste census commitment made during the Assembly elections. The relevant authorities have been requested to initiate the caste census by taking the required measures.
Today (Saturday), CM Revanth Reddy reviewed the BC, Minority, and Tribal Welfare Departments at the Secretariat.
The chief minister gave the officials an order requesting all the information on Gurukul schools operating in the state’s rented facilities. The officials were directed by the Chief Minister to submit suggestions for long-term Gurukul structures. The officials have been instructed to locate appropriate locations for construction structures quickly. Once the cost of building each school has been estimated, the budget proposals will be created.
The Chief Minister declared that all outstanding fees related to the diet, cosmetics, and cooking at Gurukul schools should be paid. Green channel will be used to make the payments.
The Mahatma Jyotibhapule Overseas Scholarship Scheme should be implemented more efficiently, the Chief Minister instructed the officials. Officials have been encouraged to make sure that more kids take advantage of the program’s benefits. In order to determine the best international universities, a framework based on the institutions’ rankings must be created. Priority should be given to students who plan to pursue higher education at prestigious universities in order for them to benefit from the system.
According to CM Revanth Reddy, all SC, ST, and BC Gurukul institutions ought to be located within the Integrated Educational Hub rather than at separate locations. According to the CM, plans for the construction of an integrated hub in each Assembly Constituency should be made. The Hubs will support effective management, oversight, and school administration. According to the CM, studying on the same campus will help pupils become more talented and competitive. The administrators have been directed to locate appropriate locations for the establishment of educational hubs in each of the constituency centers as soon as possible.
In the event that the lands in the Assembly segment’s center are unavailable, the CM advised the officials to designate locations in the town or Mandal headquarters as backup plans. the potential to develop additional facilities on the 20 acres of existing school property while promoting them as centers of education.
According to the CM, corporate organizations and businesses would be asked to cooperate in order to build education hubs. Funds for corporate social responsibility (CSR) will be raised, and donations from contributors should be used to start creating these structures. Additionally, money will be raised through CSR to pay for the supplies of books, blankets, notepads, uniforms, and other necessities for the students living in government welfare hostels.
The chief minister gave the go-ahead for officials to estimate the budget in order to give Kalyana Mastu and Shaadi Mubarak beneficiaries benefits, including gold. According to the Chief Minister, the idea of replacing the current study circles with BC Study Circles in each parliamentary constituency would be investigated.
The chief secretary Santhi Kumari, welfare ministers for the ST and BC, Ponnam Prabhakar and Seethakka, and other high-ranking officials attended the review meeting.
