TEL AVIV, SEP 29 :The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said on Sunday it had eliminated a preventive security unit commander of Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah, Nabil Kaouk.

“Yesterday [Saturday], the IDF eliminated terrorist Nabil Kaouk, Hezbollah preventive security unit commander and a member of the central council,” the IDF said in a statement.

Kaouk was close to the movement’s top authorities and was engaged in promoting Hezbollah’s operation against Israel and its people, the statement read.
