Hyderabad Metro will be extended from L B Nagar to Hayathnagar, according to Telangana Minister.
HYDERABAD, DEC 6 : Keeping in mind the increasing traffic between L B Nagar and Hayatnagar in the city, Telangana Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao on Tuesday assured that the Hyderabad Metro will be extended between these two places.
Speaking after inaugurating several developmental works including first multi-faith funeral facility constructed at a cost Rs 16.25 crore, State-of-the-art small animal crematorium constructed at a cost of Rs 33.5 lakh in L B Nagar Constituency, Rao said that the TRS Government will come to power again in the state after the assembly election to be held in 2023 and the extension of Metro Rail from Nagole to L B Nagar will be completed in the second phase.
He claimed that Telangana was developed in a systematic manner under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and secured special recognition in the country.
Stating that the development occurred in the state with the strong planning, the Minister said that the government has brought welfare schemes to benefit all the eligible in the state.
Elaborating the development works taken up by the GHMC, KTR said the Nala developmental works are being taken up at a cost of Rs 985 crore.(UNI)
