Hyd: KTR highlights common concerns as the main item on the legislative election agenda
HYDERABAD, APR 22 : BRS Working President and former Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) underscored the importance of addressing people’s problems as the central agenda in parliamentary elections, calling for the eradication of deceit perpetrated by Congress and BJP.
Addressing a meeting of party leaders in Siricilla held at Telangana Bhavan on Monday, KTR reflected on the outcome of the previous assembly elections, noting that Congress secured many seats with a slim majority but failed to deliver on its promises, leading to disillusionment among the electorate. He expressed confidence in BRS’s prospects in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
KTR criticized Bandi Sanjay, incumbent MP, for his lack of significant contributions to Karimnagar during his five-year tenure, questioning the absence of new schools, colleges, temples, or industries under his leadership.

With survey organizations indicating the potential for BRS to secure 8 to 10 seats in the state, KTR emphasized the significance of victory for BRS candidate Vinod Kumar in furthering the development of the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency. He announced KCR’s forthcoming roadshow in Siricilla on May 10 as part of the parliamentary election campaign, urging party activists to unite and ensure success.
Addressing party members who have faced pressures to defect for personal gain, KTR assured his support for those who remain loyal to the party. He pledged his commitment to their success in future local body elections and condemned the alleged harassment by Congress leaders against BRS members.(UNI)
