Highlights of CES 2022
Las Vegas, Jan 10 : Consumer Electronics Show 2022 has ended but here are some of the highlights that could interest you bringing that edge to your tech use.
BMW iX Flow: The German carmaker, BMW debuted its colour changing car at the expo. The makers have used electrophoretic technology – that is found in the screen of a Kindle e-reader – to change colours. can switch from white to black and back at the press of a button.
Noveto N1: Noveto N1 is an audio device that looks like a mini soundbar and uses beamforming technology to create a binaural audio experience. The sound emitted by the device can be heard exclusively by the user without involving a pair of headphones. When the user moves his head devices motion sensors track his ears and ensure that he hears the three-dimensional spatial audio.
John Deere Tractor: John Deere announced its fully autonomous tractor at the CES 2022. This tractor can be controlled from a remote location using an app that provides access to live video, images, data and metrics, and allows a farmer to adjust speed, depth and more. It is equipped with six pairs of stereo cameras, which enables 360-degree obstacle detection.
Samsung energy harvesting remote: Samsung introduced notable enhancements to its first-of-its-kind SolarCell Remote, which eliminates battery waste with a built-in solar panel that can be charged during both day and night. The enhanced SolarCell Remote gets electricity from radio frequencies in devices like Wi-Fi routers.
Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED: Asus unveiled Zenbook 17 Fold OLED laptops were unveiled at CES 2022. The laptop powered by up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 U-series processor has a 17.3-inch display -0.2 ms response time, 60 Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colours – that can be folded to become a 12.5-inch screen. The company claims its hinge has been tested for 30,000 cycles for durability.
Intel Alder Lake CPU: Intel during the CES 2022 announced the world’s fastest mobile processor, bringing its performance hybrid architecture to mobile platforms for the first time with new 12th Gen Intel Core mobile processors that it claims are up to 40 per cent faster than the previous generation mobile processor.
Sony Vision S electric SUV: Sony exhibited VISION-S 02 – SUV-type prototype vehicle which uses the same EV/cloud platform as the VISION-S 01 prototype, which is being tested on public roads. The concept vehicle supports safe driving by recognising and analysing the surrounding environment in real-time, with sensors installed 360 degrees around the vehicle.(UNI)
