Hyderabad, Jul 11: Many parts of Telangana and its capital city Hyderabad were pounded by heavy rains affecting normal life Today.
Warangal district, which received the heaviest rainfall was drenched and many low-lying areas were flooded.
In the State Capital, traffic snarls were witnessed in many localities as the roads were inundated following the downpour.
Besides, pitch darkness prevailed in Hyderabad and its environs owing to overcast sky resulting in poor visibility.
The weather office, meanwhile, has predicted that heavy to very heavy rains were likely in many parts of the state during the next 48 hours under the influence of a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal. (UNI)
