Gyanvapi case: New trust formed for legal battle

Varanasi, July 11 : Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, the Counsel of Hindu side in Shringar Gauri Sthal case, on Monday announced formation of a new trust “Shri Aadimahadeo Kashi Dharmalay Mukti Nyas’, which will look after all the litigation related to the Kashi Vishwanath-Gyanvapi mosque complex case.

At a press conference here, Jain said there will be 11 main trustees, 21 trustees and four women. “The trust will be headed by Advocate Hari Shankar Jain,” he added.

Jain said that so far, the Counsels of the Muslim side have made their submission before the court and now the Hindu side will cite 25 Supreme Court cases related to the Places of Worship Act (Special Provision), 1991. He exuded confidence that they would win the case.

“It’s a long legal battle, but we will win the cases related to Maa Shringar Gauri and Kashi Vishwanath-Gyanvapi mosque complex,” asserted Jain. He said the trust has been formed to fight legal battles and not for any other profit motive.

The case will come up for hearing in the court of District Judge Ajay Krishna Vishvesha on Tuesday.(UNI)
