Tirumala, Oct 15 : Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) organised grand Chakrasnanam fete on the concluding day of ongoing Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavam inside Srivari temple with following Covid- guidelines here on Friday.
In the morning between 0800 hours – 1100 hours, the utsava idols of Sri Malayappa and his consorts Sridevi and Sri Bhudevi and Sri Sudarshan Chakrathalwar were given Snapana thirumanjanam at the Ayina mahal.
Later, the utsava idol of Sri Sudarshan Chakrathalwar was given a holy bath in a small Pushkarini created for the purpose at the mukha mandapam of Ayina Maha.
Legends say that the holy dip provided fruits of all Homas.
In the evening , the finale event of Dwajavarohanam was held in the Srivari temple heralding the conclusion of the nine-day annual Brahmotsavam fete at Tirumala.
Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramana, Supreme Court judges Justice KK Maheswari, Justice Hima Kohli, AP high court judges Justice Lalita Kumari, Justice Sathyanarayana Murthy, Chhattisgarh high court judge Justice PP Sahoo, Justice Narender Kumar VYAS, Kerala high court judge Justice P Somarajan were participated in the event.
APLASTIC Deputy speaker Kona Raghupati, TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy , TTD board members, Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy and others were also present.(UNI)
