Panaji, Sep 1 : Goa reported 95 new cases of Covid 19 and one death during the last 24 hours.
According to a daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, the number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,74,050 while the number of total deaths increased to 3202.
There were 82 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,69,959.
Recovery rate in the state stood at 97.65 per cent.
On Wednesday, 76 patients were sent for home isolation, 19 were admitted to hospitals while four were discharged.
As many as 5109 new samples were tested on Wednesday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 12,13,926.
The number of active cases in the state stood at 889.(UNI)
