Panaji, Jun 13 : Goa reported 420 new cases of Covid 19 and 14 deaths during the last 24 hours.
According to daily bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,62,468 while number of total deaths shot up to 2,928.
There were 581 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,54,658.
Recovery rate in the state improved to 95.19 per cent.
On Sunday, 370 new patients were sent for home isolation, 50 were admitted to hospitals while 57 were discharged.
As many as 3002 new samples were tested on Sunday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 8,68,135.
The number of active cases in the state decreased to 5882.(UNI)
