Panaji, Jun 7 : Goa reported 418 new cases of Covid 19 and 13 deaths during the last 24 hours.

According to daily bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,59,811 while number of total deaths shot up to 2,840.

There were 1162 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,50,574.

Recovery rate in the state improved to 94.22 per cent.

Today, 349 new patients were sent for home isolation, 69 were admitted to hospitals while 74 were discharged.

As many as 2745 new samples were tested on Monday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 8,48,687.

The number of active cases in the state decreased to 6397.(UNI)
