Panaji, Nov 10 : Goa recorded 32 new Covid cases and one death during the past 24 hours, the health department said Today.

According to the daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the addition of these new cases, the cumulative number of infections in the state rose to 1,78,399 while the death toll increased to 3,371.

A total of 22 more recoveries were also reported during the past 24 hours, taking the number of recovered cases in the state to 1,74,734.

Recovery rate in the state currently stands at 97.95 per cent.

On Wednesday, 29 patients were advised home isolation, three admitted to hospitals while same number of people were discharged.

During the same period, as many as 3422 new samples were tested, taking the number of tests conducted in the state so far to 14,95,561.

Currently, the state houses 294 active COVID cases.(UNI)
