Panaji, Jun 19 : Goa reported 302 new cases of Covid 19 and nine deaths during the last 24 hours.
According to daily bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,64,229 while number of total deaths shot up to 2,984.
There were 419 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,57,772.
Recovery rate in the state improved to 96.07 per cent.
On Saturday, 255 patients were sent for home isolation, 47 were admitted to hospitals while 38 were discharged.
As many as 3469 new samples were tested on Saturday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 8,85,980.
The number of active cases in the state decreased to 3473.(UNI)
