Panaji, May 20 : Goa reported 1582 new cases of Covid 19 and 44 deaths during the last 24 hours.
According to daily bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,41,567 while number of total deaths shot up to 2,272.
There were 3694 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,18,487.
Recovery rate in the state improved to 83.70 per cent.
Today 1381 new patients were sent for home isolation, 201 were admitted to hospitals while 189 were discharged.
As many as 4581 new samples were tested Today taking the number of total samples tested so far to 7,73,765.
The number of active cases in the state decreased to 20,808.(UNI)
