Panaji, Jul 30 : Goa reported 152 new cases of Covid 19 and two deaths during the last 24 hours.

According to a daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, the number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,71,052 while the number of total deaths increased to 3144.

There were 134 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,66,813.

Recovery rate in the state stood at 97.52 per cent.

On Friday, 133 patients were sent for home isolation, 19 were admitted to hospitals while 15 were discharged.

As many as 4322 new samples were tested on Friday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 10,51,410.

The number of active cases in the state increased to 1093.(UNI)
