Panaji, Jul 11: Goa reported 131 new cases of Covid 19 and two deaths during the last 24 hours.
According to a daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, the number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,68,716 while the number of total deaths shot up to 3097.
There were 241 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,63,771.
The recovery rate in the state stood at 97.07 percent.
On Sunday, 99 patients were sent for home isolation, 32 were admitted to hospitals while 19 were discharged.
As many as 4197 new samples were tested on Sunday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 9,71,186.
The number of active cases in the state decreased to 1848. (UNI)
