Panaji, Jul 5 :Goa reported 130 new cases of Covid 19 and two deaths during the last 24 hours.

According to daily bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,67,566 while number of total deaths shot up to 3075.

There were 281 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,62,557.

Recovery rate in the state stood at 97.01 per cent.

On Monday, 114 patients were sent for home isolation, 16 were admitted to hospitals while 12 were discharged.

As many as 3979 new samples were tested on Monday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 9,42,433.

The number of active cases in the state decreased to 1934.(UNI)
