Panaji, Sep 3 : Goa reported 104 new cases of Covid 19 and one death during the last 24 hours.

According to a daily bulletin issued by the Directorate of Health Services (DHS), with the new cases, the number of total confirmed cases in the state increased to 1,74,250 while the number of total deaths stood at 3203.

There were 120 recoveries during the last 24 hours which took the number of total recoveries in the state to 1,70,151.

Recovery rate in the state stood at 97.65 per cent.

Today, 93 patients were sent for home isolation, 11 were admitted to hospitals while five were discharged.

As many as 4971 new samples were tested on Friday taking the number of total samples tested so far to 12,25,474.

The number of active cases in the state stood at 896.(UNI)
