Panaji, Jan 1 : Goa Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant Today  extended their greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of New Year.

In a tweet, the Governor said, “A new year, a new dawn, new hope.

May the joys and blessings of the new year be with you throughout the coming year, and keep you healthy and happy. #HappyNewYear #welcome2022.”

The Chief Minister said, “The year 2021 has been quite challenging for all of us. Goans have created history by overcoming the challenges and achieving 100% vaccination of the 1st Dose and the 2nd is nearing completion.”

“I appeal all my Goan brothers & sisters to continue the support & braveness shown in the last year & step in the new year with full confidence toward the vision of #SwayampurnaGoa. Let us all together set a new landmark as we step in a new year full of opportunities & hopes,” he added.(UNI)
