Panaji, Jan 1 : Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant Today  expressed sorrow over the death of people in a stampede at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan in Jammu and Kashmir’s Katra.

In a tweet, he said, “Saddened to know about the unfortunate stampede that claimed lives at Mata Vaishnodevi Bhawan.”

“My heartfelt condolences to families and praying for speedy recovery of the injured,” he added.

At least 12 people have been reportedly killed and 13 others injured in a stampede at Mata Vaishnodevi shrine in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir early Today  morning.(UNI)
