HYDERABAD, MAR 26   :    The Election Commission of India has announced the final publication of the electoral roll as part of the Special Summary Revision 2024 on February 8, 2024.

The Election Commission issued the schedule for the General Elections to the House of Parliament (HoP) on March 16, 2024. Polling in Telangana is scheduled for May 13, 2024 (Monday), a statement said on Tuesday.

By the instructions from the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, Forms-7 and Form-8 (for corporations) received until March 15, 2024, have been processed on ERO Net.

The deadline for processing these forms was March 25, 2024. As of March 25, 2024, a total of 9,14,354 Form 7s for deletion and 7,31,573 Form 8s for correction of entries have been processed after the completion of the assembly elections.

As per further instructions from the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, no Form 7 (deletion request) or Form 8 (correction request) can be processed in ERO Net from this point onward.

It is also clarified that Form-6 (enrollment in the voter list) and Form-8 (shifting from one Assembly Constituency to another) can be filed up to April 15, 2024.

As of March 25, 2024, the voter statistics for the state of Telangana are as follows:
