Gen-sec of AICC blasts Modi
MALAPPURAM, APR 25 : AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Wednesday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling BJP government are not talking about important issues facing the country at present and asked what the Prime Minister has done to empower the common people.
Addressing a UDF election campaign meeting for his brother Rahul Gandhi at Edakkara, she also alleged that BJP has had destroyed all the core values of the Constitution during last 10 years under the Narendra Modi regime.
She further alleged that BJP is trying to rewrite the country’s Constitution and accused the Prime Minister of behaving irresponsibly towards the people of the country.
Attacking the Modi government, the Congress leader charged that the prices of essential commodities and unemployment have gone up due to the wrong policies of the Union government and alleged that many companies in the country have given crores of rupees to BJP.
She said that her brother Rahul Gandhi, who has contested from Wayanad constituency in Kerala consecutively, understands issues of the common people and the youths.
Attacking the NDA government for having frozen the bank accounts of the opposition Congress party, Ms Gandhi claimed that the government took this action because it lacked courage to face the Congress party in the Lok Sabha election.(UNI)
