Gadakh visits flood areas in the district
Osmanabad, Sep 29: Minister of State for Soil and Water Conservation Shankarrao Gadakh visiting the rain-ravaged district today to inspect the losses.
According to the official sources stated that Mr. Gadakh will arrive at Dautpur in Osmanabad taluka at 1100 hours and will inspect the flood-affected area.
After that, he will move to Irla where he will inspect the damaged crop.
By this afternoon he will visit to Ter inspecting the houses that have fallen due to heavy rains. He will visit the rural hospital at Ter and then inspect the damaged crops.
Late, Mr. Gadakh will proceed to Wakadi (Isthal) in Kalamb taluka and inspect the flood-affected area.
Finally, he will visit Saundana (Mango) and inspect the flood-affected area.
After completing his visit he will travel from Saundana (Mango) to Ahmednagar as per his convenience, they stated.
Due to heavy rains and release of major dam Manjara water and another major dam Nimma Terna water entered in many villages residing riverside villages in which villagers were struck up.
The district administration and NDRF evacuated these people.
Several lakh hectares of land submerged due to rainwater entered in the fields.(UNI)
