G Kishan Reddy: Cong and BRS parties are reluctant to accept Modi and the BJP’s growing popularity.
HYDERABAD, APR 20 : G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister and Telangana BJP President asserted that the Congress and BRS parties are struggling to cope with the increasing popularity and support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.
Addressing the media at the party’s state headquarters, Reddy highlighted the significant influx of youths joining the BJP, especially in rural areas. He criticized leaders from BRS and Congress for their disparaging remarks against BJP due to this surge in support.
Responding to criticism from BRS-Congress leaders, particularly Revanth Reddy, alleging that BJP indulged in unethical practices to secure bail for KCR’s daughter, Reddy challenged them to justify their claims regarding phone tapping allegations. He emphasized that the arrest of KCR’s daughter is unrelated to state politics or Lok Sabha elections.
Reddy accused Congress and BRS of solely focusing on criticizing BJP and predicted that Congress would not secure more than 40 seats nationwide due to public disillusionment with the party’s alleged corruption. He further accused Congress leaders of diverting funds to Delhi within four months, labeling corruption as inherent in the party’s DNA.
Continuing his tirade against Congress and BRS, Reddy asserted that BRS’s trust among the public has dwindled, predicting its diminishing influence in upcoming elections. He reiterated BJP’s position as the future of Telangana, emphasizing its commitment to development.
Reddy warned Congress and BRS leaders against baseless allegations and urged voters to reject Congress for allegedly betraying public trust. He announced Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s upcoming visit to Telangana as part of the election campaign, along with BJP National General Secretary Sunil Bansal’s scheduled visit.
Reddy emphasized the party’s focus on door-to-door campaigning and predicted BJP’s victory in upcoming elections, both in Telangana and nationally. He criticized KTR, son of former Chief Minister KCR, for allegedly disrespecting BJP and accused MLAs leaving BRS of undermining democracy.
Reddy urged voters not to support Congress until it fulfills its electoral promises and accused the party of chronic dishonesty. He referenced Sonia Gandhi’s signed letter promising the fulfillment of Congress’s guarantees within 100 days of coming to power, accusing the party of reneging on its commitments.(UNI)
