Hyderabad, 25 June 2023 (PMI): Falaknuma police detained four suspects, including a minor, after they plotted to murder a man on Saturday night. Three sickles, three knives, two bikes, and cell phones were taken from them by the police. Together with a child, the arrested individuals, Meer Ashfaq Ali alias Amer Khan, 27, of Farooqnagar, Mohd Subhan Khan, 19, of Kalapather, and Mohammed Jameel Khan, 19, of Saroornagar, plotted to murder Nazim alias Ishan. Three further members of the group, Farhan, Imran, and Chota Farhan, are missing.”Amer and Nazim are identical brothers who have been at odds for a long time. A few months ago, Amer attacked Nazim over a minor family dispute, and as a result, Nazim started publicly defaming Amer. Additionally, Amer’s wife was not doing well, and he feared Nazim had cast some type of black magic on her as a result of which she kept getting sick frequently, according to DCP South zone P Sai Chaitanya.Amer met his friends and a few others on Friday and made plans to assassinate Nazim. The sickles and knives from Nanded were organised and kept at his home a few months ago.According to P Sai Chaitanya, Amer and six other people with guns gathered at the Zaitun Hotel in Falaknuma on Friday night while they waited for Nazim. The Falaknuma police eventually apprehended them and took the weapons away.Based on the aforementioned act of the defendant, a case was filed under Cr. No. 175/2023 under Sections 120-B, 149 r/w 511 IPC, and 25(1)(A) of the Arms Act, and the arrested defendant is now being brought before the Honourable Court for judicial detention.Under the direction of Sri S. Raghavendra, Inspector of Police, PS Falaknuma, B.Ravi Kumar, SI of Police, and Sri Shaik Jahangir, Additional DCP, I/c Falaknuma Division, the aforementioned arrest was made.
