Hyderabad, May 3 : Former MLA Rajaiahgari Muthyam Reddy passes away here on Monday after prolong illness.

His hometown is Kamaram village in Chinnasankarampeta Mandal of Medak district. Muthyamreddy had resigned in 1980 to replace Tanguturi Anjayya as Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has mourned the death of erstwhile Ramayampet Assembly Constituency’s former MLA Rajaiahgari Muthyam Reddy.

In a message, the Chief Minister recalled the services rendered by Muthyam Reddy and his association with him from his native Medak district.

The Chief Minister also recalled how Muthyam Reddy had sacrificed his MLA seat and also his services as MLC and ZP Chairman.

The Chief Minister said with the death of Muthyam Reddy, the Medak district had lost an ideal leader.

The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to members of the bereaved family.(UNI)
