Palghar, April 12: Former BJP MLA Pascal Dhanare on Monday died of COVID-19 at a hospital in Mumbai, party sources said.

He had been treating at Vapi, but as his condition deteriorated he was shifted to Mumbai last night, where he died in the early hours on Monday.

He represented the Dahanu Assembly segment in Palghar in 2014-19.

He leaves behind his wife and two daughters and a son, sources added. (UNI)
