NEW DELHI, AUG 27 : The Foreign Minister of Chile Alberto van Klaveren is visiting India to participate in the 2nd India-Chile Joint Commission Meeting, to be held on August 28, co-chaired by EAM S. Jaishankar.

Minister Klaveren will participate, along with his Agriculture Minister, Esteban Valenzuela in the Chile⁠-India Business (Agriculture) Summit, on August 28, and later proceed to Mumbai, a statement said.

Chile is a key partner of India in the Latin American region. The forthcoming visit of Minister Klaveren will provide both sides an opportunity to review the progress in bilateral relations and explore new avenues for cooperation, further strengthening bilateral ties, the statement added.(UNI)
