Anantnag, Mar 30 :  Two hotels were damaged in a fire incident in famed health resort of Pahalgam in this south Kashmir district during the intervening night of Monday and Today, official sources said.

Fire broke out at Pahalgam in hotel Crown View and Hotel Retreat and Restaurant during the night.

Fire tenders were immediately rushed to the area to control the leading flames visible in the entire Pahalgam.

Later the fire was brought under control by the fire fighters and locals, they said, adding that both the hotels suffered damage.

The cause of fire was being ascertained, they said adding the cause of fire was being ascertained.

Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.(UNI)
