Hyderabad, Jul 12: Former Minister and prominent BC leader L.Ramana joined the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the presence of party Working President K.T.Rama Rao at Telangana Bhavan, the TRS headquarters, here today.

Mr.Ramana has resigned as the Telugu Desam Party’s Telangana unit President and sent his resignation letter to TDP National President N.Chandrababu Naidu last week.

Mr.Rama Rao has handed over the TRS membership form to Mr.Ramana.

Mr. Ramana’s followers will join the TRS in the presence of the party Supremo and Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao on July 16.

Mr.Ramana will be draped with the party’s pink-colored shawl by Mr. Rao. (UNI)
