Hyderabad, April 16:  Former Minister A Chandulal passed away while undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital here late on Thursday night.

He had been ailing for some time.

Chandulal was the Tribal Welfare Minister in N T Rama Rao’s Cabinet. Later, he left the TDP to join the TRS.

He served as the Tribal Minister in K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Cabinet in 2014.

The former Minister was elected as MLA thrice from the Mulugu Assembly constituency and was an MP from the Warangal Lok Sabha Constituency twice.

He lost the last Assembly election from the same constituency in the erstwhile Warangal district in the hands of Congress MLA Sitakka.

Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao condoled the death of Chandulal.

He conveyed his condolences to members of the bereaved family.

Mr. Rao instructed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to perform the last rites of the former Minister with full state honors.(UNI)
