Ex-CM KCR checks dried crops and gives farmers assurances of support.
HYDERABAD, APR 5 : President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR) paid a visit to Mugdhumpur in Karimnagar district on Friday to assess the condition of dried crops
During his visit, KCR engaged with local farmers and discussed the water scarcity issues affecting their farms. Many farmers expressed their concerns regarding irrigation water shortage, citing difficulties in harvesting crops due to inadequate water supply. They emphasized the urgent need for water to revive their fields.
Responding to the farmers’ plight, KCR assured them of support from the BRS and encouraged them to remain resilient in the face of challenges. He pledged to address the agricultural crisis.
Later in the evening, KCR is scheduled to inspect dried crops at Boinpalli in Choppadandi Assembly Constituency and hold discussions with farmers. Subsequently, he will visit Vemulawada in Sircilla Assembly Constituency, according to party sources.(UNI)
