Hyderabad, Nov 19 : Former Telangana Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary has been nominated as MLC under the Governor’s quota.

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has approved the name of Mr. Chary, which was recommended by the state government, according to sources.

Earlier, it may be recalled, that the Cabinet had recommended the name of TRS leader Kaushik Reddy as MLC under the Governor’s quota but the Raj Bhavan held back the file.

After Mr Reddy was sent to the Legislative Council under MLAs’ quota, the state Cabinet subsequently recommended the name of Mr Chary.(UNI)
