Every two years, GGSIP University announces new programs and admissions.

NEW DELHI, JUNE 19 :  Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will implement biannual admissions from the 2025-2026 academic session, following UGC’s approval for July-August and January-February cycles.

This change aims to provide greater flexibility and accessibility for students.

The Academic Council also introduced supernumerary seats for ‘Single Girl Child’ admissions and approved a new B.Tech. programme in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Several new UG and PG programmes and increased intakes for existing courses were also sanctioned.

In the medical field, eligibility and admission criteria for Nurse Practitioner Critical Care (NPCC) and master’s in public health (Field Epidemiology) programmes were approved. Additionally, the Indraprastha Skill Development Centre will offer new high-demand courses in collaboration with Sector Skill Councils, including Emergency Medical Technician, Graphic Design, and Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic Entrepreneur.(UNI)
