Every district will see the construction of Divyang Bhavan: Maha DyCM
CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR, FEB 23 : Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday announced that the government will construct a Divyang Bhavan in each district headquarters of the state.
Presiding over a review meeting held at the collector’s office here, he said that four per cent of total population in the state is afflicted with disability.
Keeping in view their special needs, a well-equipped Divyang Bhavan will be constructed in each district headquarters of the state, he said.
For that, a proposal should be prepared with updated information about the plan and tools, he noted.
Initially, buildings for disabled will be constructed in the divisional headquarters, added Pawar.(UNI)
