Encourage students on learning of new software: JNTU Engineering College Principal
Kakinada, Sep 27: JNTUK campus engineering college Principal Prof B. Balakrishna has called upon the teachers to accord priority for research and encourage students to update themselves by learning new software from time to time.
Participating as the chief guest at the training programme on `Machine learning trends and applications (phase-2)’ at the college CSE wing here on Monday, he said: the teachers would be much benefitted by the training , enriching themselves with the modern technology.
It also helps them in improving their knowledge in their respective subjects, he added. Mahindra University professor Dr G. Ramamurthy attended as the keynote speaker for the inaugural session while college vice principal Prof Krishna Prasad participated as the guest of honour.
The AICTE has sponsored the training programme under the quality improvement scheme which will continue till October 2.
University engineering college CSE wing head Dr D. Haritha is the convener while Assistant professor Dr A. Karuna is Coordinator for the programme conducted on online mode.(UNI)
