Kakinada, Feb 28 :East Godavari Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi has presented monetary benefits to three Home guards at a brief function held at the district police office here on Sunday.
He has handed over a cheque being the amount of the one day wages donated by the Home guards all over the district to D. Yarrappa Setty who is retiring.
The SP also distributed two cheques for Rs.10,000 each to two Home Guards- D.Prasad and N.Chandrakala towards medical aid sanctioned from the central welfare fund.
SP Adnan while commending the services rendered by the retired Home guard Yarrappa Setty assured him of early payment of the monetary benefits due from the government .
He said the police department would extend all out assistance to the retired home guard’s family for the speedy rehabilitation.
Home Guards Reserve Inspector V G Sriharirao, Junior assistant JSV Raghavulu were among those attended. (UNI)
