New Delhi, Jan 13 : External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar Today  met UK Secretary of State for International Trade Anne-Marie Trevelyan and welcomed the launch of the India-UK FTA negotiations.

He said that New India and Global Britain can make a bigger difference working together.

Earlier in the day, Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and UK Secretary of State for International Trade Anne-Marie Trevelyan launched negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement(FTA). The two sides aim to conclude negotiations by the year end.(UNI)
