Hyderabad, Mar 4 (UNI) Ms K Swarnashree, Aerospace Engineering student of  (2016-2020) batch, GITAM Deemed- to-be University, Hyderabad has been awarded of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India on March 1.


Mr  S.Jeevan Babu, Sc-F, Head HRD/ DHR&TM, DRDO informed this with a wide letter, a release from GITAM here said on Wednesday.


The JRF is offered initially for a period of two years with a monthly stipend of Rs.31,000.


The Junior Research Fellowship may be extended subjected to the performance during these two years.


DRDO has been providing accommodation also in its Township, Kanchanbagh subject to availability.


Mr  Swarnashree is eligible for medical facilities available at DRDO. She is also eligible for a contingent grant up to Rs.15,000 per annum.
