Chennai, June 8 : Ms Nadhiya, wife of ruling DMK spokesman Tamilan Prasanna, committed suicide by hanging at her residence in North Chennai Today.
Police sources said Nadhiya was found hanging from the ceiling of the fan at her house.
Acting on information, police rushed to the spot and removed her body to the Government hospital for post mortem.
Kodungaiyur police have registered a case and are questioning Prasanna in this connection.
The reason for Nadhiya taking the extreme step was not known, though police suspect family dispute to be the reason.
Prasanna was DMK’s spokesperson and used to regularly participate in TV debates.(UNI)
