District BJP stages demonstrations for the demand of home minister Deshmukh’s resignation

Kolhapur, Mar 21 :District Bhartia Janata party (BJP) unit party workers today staged a demonstrations at busy historic Bindu Chowk this afternoon, as a part of statewide agitation, for the demand of resignation of state home minister Anil Deshmukh following a letter bomb of former Mumbai Commissioner Parmabirsing to state chief minister Uddhav Thackeray.
BJP workers led by district chief Rahul Chikode, gathered at Bindu Chowk and demonstrated against the state government and its home minister Mr Deshmukh for his alleged involvement in demanding ‘ransom’ of Rs 100 crore per month from controvisial police officer Sachin Waze, who had arrested in a case of vehicle madden with explosives parked near Mumbai residence of Mukesh Ambani and businessmen Mansukh Hiren death case.
Mr Chikode said that Mr Deshmukh should tendered his resignation letter with immediately effect following his involvement in demanding Rs 100 crore. Mr Sing had sent e-mail of his letter to Mr Thackeray and state governor with detailing on Mr Deshmukh’s demand.
He said that if Mr Deshmukh failed to give resignation letter then Mr Thackeray should sack him from state cabinet immediately. He would detected why Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, who called as ‘Janta Raja”, keep mum on this issue.(UNI)
