Cyberdome of Kerala Police bags ISO 27001 Certificate for this year

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 1 : Cyberdome, a centre for excellence for Kerala Police in cyber security, has bagged the ISO 27001 Certificate for the Year 2021, it was reported Today.

For the first time in India, the ISO 27001 Certification is given to the Cyberdome of a State Police for its excellent performance in addressing growing challenges in cyber security.

The ISO Cerificate was received by DGP Anil Kant from Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at a function held at the chief minister’s office here on Tuesday.

The ceremony was attended by ADGP-HQ Manoj Abraham, who is also Nodal Officer for Cyberdome, Balram Kumar Upadhyay, City Police Commissioner and P Prakash, DIG.

Cyberdome is a public private partnership initiative which pools the resources of various stakeholders to augment the capacity to address the ever growing challenges to cyber security.

The Cyberdome envisages an online office of Technical experts, Ethical Hackers, Cyber professionals, who can assist the police in the area of Cyber Security and Cyber Crime Investigation.

This was the fourth consecutive year, the Cyberdome of the Kerala Police got this recognition.(UNI)
