COVID: J&K reports new 280 COVID cases, four deaths
Jammu, July 7 : Jammu and Kashmir Government Today informed that 280 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (131 from Jammu division and 149 from Kashmir division), have been reported, taking the total number of positive cases in the union territory to 3,17,761.
Also four deaths have been reported during the same period, 3 from Jammu division and 1 from Kashmir division.
Moreover, 419 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals, including 197 from Jammu division and 222 from Kashmir division.
Besides this, 90.78 percent of the population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.
The bulletin also informed that no confirmed case of Mucormycosis has been reported on Wednesday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 30 in the UT of J&K.
According to the daily medical bulletin regarding the novel coronavirus, out of 3,17,761 positive cases, 3,439 are Active Positive, 3,09,973 have recovered and 4,349 have died; 2,123 in Jammu division and 2,226 in Kashmir division.
The bulletin further said that out of 10,379,791 test results available, 10,062,030 samples have tested negative till today.
Till date 2,505,718 people have been enlisted for observation which included 8,754 people in home quarantine, including facilities operated by government, 3,439 in isolation and 2,53,999 in home surveillance.
Besides, 2,235,177 people have completed their surveillance period.(UNI)
