Mumbai, Jun 19 : Maharashtra Today reported 8,912 fresh Covid-19 patients and 257 fatalities in a single day, taking the state’s cumulative case tally to 59,63,420 and the toll to 1,17,356, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 10,373 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 57,10,356.
The state’s recovery rate went up to 95.76 per cent while the fatality rate also slightly increased to 1.97 per cent.
There are now 1,32,597 active cases across the state, added the bulletin.(UNI)
