Mumbai, Jul 31 : Maharashtra Today  reported 6,959 fresh Covid-19 patients and 225 fatalities in a single day, taking the state’s cumulative case tally to 63,03,715 and the toll to 1,32,791, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.

On the other hand, 7,467 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 60,90,786.

The state’s recovery rate improved to 96.62 per cent while the fatality rate remained steady at 2.1 per cent.

There are now 76,755 active cases across the state, added the bulletin.(UNI)
