Aurangabad / Mumbai, Nov 22 : Maharashtra Today reported 656 new Covid-19 patients and eight fatalities in a single day, taking the state’s cumulative case tally to 66,30,531 and the toll to 1,40,747, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.

On the other hand, 768 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 64,76,450.

The state’s recovery rate further improved to 97.68 per cent, while the fatality rate was steady at 2.12 per cent.

There are now 9,678 active cases in the state, added the bulletin.(UNI)
