Aurangabad / Mumbai, Sep 2 : Maharashtra Today reported 4,342 fresh Covid-19 patients and 55 fatalities in a single day, taking the state’s cumulative case tally to 64,73,674 and the toll to 1,37,551, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 4,755 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 62,81,655.
The state’s recovery rate improved to 97.04 per cent while the fatality rate was steady at 2.12 per cent.
There are now 50,607 active cases in the state, added the bulletin.(UNI)
