Aurangabad / Mumbai, Sep 22 :Maharashtra Today reported 3,608 fresh Covid-19 patients and 48 fatalities in a single day, taking the state’s cumulative case tally to 65,31,237 and the toll to 1,38,664, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.

On the other hand, 4,285 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 63,49,029.

The state’s recovery rate shot up to 97.21 per cent while the fatality rate was steady at 2.12 per cent.

There are now 39,984 active cases in the state, added the bulletin.(UNI)
