Aurangabad / Mumbai, Sep 29 : Maharashtra today reported 3,187 fresh Covid-19 patients and 49 fatalities in a single day, taking the state’s cumulative case tally to 65,47,793 and the toll to 1,39,011, respectively, a health bulletin of the state government said.
On the other hand, 3,253 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking the overall count of recoveries to 63,68,530.
The state’s recovery rate slipped to 97.26 percent, while the fatality rate was steady at 2.12 percent.
There are now 36,675 active cases in the state, the bulletin said. (UNI)
