Bengaluru, Jul 11: Karnataka Today reported 1978 fresh cases of the COVID-19, taking the state’s cumulative total of cases to 2871298.

According to official sources, as many as 56 deaths took place due to COVID-19 in the last 24-hours, taking the total number of fatalities so far in the state to 35,835.

The sources said that as many as 2326 Covid-19 patients got discharged from various hospitals during the last 24 hours.

The state’s positivity rate stands at 1.24 percent and the case fatality rate

accounted is at 2.83 percent, the sources added. (UNI)
